Since we don't have internet at home and I don't have access at school, I have to wait until I come to either Eric's mom's house or my parents' house to update the blog. Also, my camera died so I haven't been taking as many pics as before. Here's a brief update of our life since the end of August.
Brayden's 1st day of school!
Brayden was so excited about starting school and so were we! He found his backpack and lunchbox that he wanted(they didn't match)! Off he went to West Elementary! They were accepting 3 yr olds into the preK program so we thought it would be great for him!
Kale's "Gotcha" party!
On September 10, it became official! The adoption was final and Kale was legally and finally Steve and Keisha's! We all got together to celebrate!
Brayden's 4th Bday party!
We had a transformer party at our house. It held off the rain just long enough for the kids to get to play outside. Fun was had by all!!! We followed our party with Eric's uncle Steve's bday party in Alvarado. We had a great party day!
Halloween 2009
Kadence dressed up as an angel(that she already is!ha!). Brayden dressed up as Optimus Prime(a transformer). They went to our church 1st to the festival with lots of games and candy. Then we headed back to Abbott to the fire station. It was a fun, but exhausting time getting kids in car seats and out of car seats! I'll be ready for them to be able to jump out on their own and get in on their own!
Brayden's soccer team!
Brayden is playing soccer(which is now over...thank goodness!) He is more concerned with the net in the goal than anything. We finally got him to stop tackling people! That's an achievement. The boy just needs a football tackling league! We've decided to cease and desist on the whole playing sports until Brayden really understands and cares about doing it. It was more stress on us than anyone!
